I’ve never used chickpea flour for a cake before, I used self-raising flour in this recipe. I always use a good dark chocolate, it’s great for cooking and high in antioxidants so it’s good for you too!

I tried this cake recipe yesterday but somehow couldn’t achieve the same result as you, my cake definitely wasn’t looking that good (but tasted fine). What sort of chocolate are you using? Maybe it’s coming from the flour I used, so I used chickpea flour instead of regular wheat flour.

Chocolate and cherries just seem to go together and this recipe is more proof of that. When you serve these tasty squares to your friends, be sure to have a copy of the recipe handy.
