		<div style="clear:both;"></div><p>I love a good pesto, and this recipe is really simple and easy to make.  Pesto is so versatile, plus it lasts for quite a while, so you can make up a decent batch to keep in the fridge and use in pastas, sandwiches, roasts (I love to marinade lamb backstrap in it), salads, all sorts of meals!</p>
<p>Try this out, and see what kind of delicious and creative meal you can come up with!</p>
<h3><span style="color: #3366ff;">Easy Basil Pesto Recipe</span></h3>
<p>Ingredients:-</p>
<p>80g Basil leaves</p>
<p>50g Pine nuts</p>
<p>2 garlic cloves</p>
<p>4 tablespoons grated parmesan</p>
<p>150ml extra virgin olive oil</p>
<h3>MAKES 200ML</h3>
<p>Put the garlic, basil, pine nuts and parmesan in a mortar and pestle or a food processor and pound or mix to a paste.  Add the oil in a steady stream, mixing continuously.</p>
<p>Add salt if necessary.</p>
<p>Refrigerate in a sterilised jar, covered with a layer of olive oil, for up to 3 weeks.</p>
