3/4 c Pesto<br />

<h2>Grated Zucchini-Pesto Pizza Preparation</h2>
<p>*washed, trimmed, grated or shredded, and squeezed dry in a dish towel.</p>
<p>1. Preheat oven to 250C for 30 minutes for a pizza pan or 60 minutes for <a target="_blank" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000E1FDA?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=fislurinf-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B0000E1FDA">pizza tiles or stones</a><img style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=fislurinf-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B0000E1FDA" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" />.</p>
<p>2. Combine the zucchini, pesto, garlic, and mozzarella in a large bowl. Spread the mixture over the pizza base.</p>
<p>3. Bake in a preheated 250C oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden.</p>
<p>This pizza is delicious hot or cold.</p>

<p>1/3 c Slivered almonds<br />
1 tb Olive oil<br />
1/3 c Thinly sliced green onions<br />
1 ts Minced garlic<br />
1 ts Grated grapefruit peel; ruby or pink<br />
4 Skinless halibut fillets (about 6-oz each)<br />
3 Ruby or pink grapefruit<br />
Salt and pepper; to taste</p>
<h2>Halibut Citrus Amandine Preparation</h2>
<p>Preheat oven to 425F.</p>
<p>In medium non-stick skillet over medium heat, toss almonds in oil about 2 minutes until lightly browned.</p>
<p>Remove from heat; mix in onions, garlic and peel. Arrange fish in shallow baking pan.</p>
<p>Juice one of the grapefruit; pour juice over fish, then top evenly with almond mixture.</p>
<p>Bake in centre of oven 10 to 12 minutes until fish flakes when tested with a fork and is opaque throughout. <em>(Baking time will depend on thickness of fish.)</em></p>
<p>Meanwhile, peel and section remaining grapefruit. Season fish with salt and pepper and arrange on platter.</p>
<p>Pour over any pan juices and surround with grapefruit sections.</p>

<p>1 lg Eggplant<br />
1/4 c Veg. oil<br />
1 cn (15 oz) tomato sauce<br />
1 cn (4 oz) chopped; mild green chillies<br />
1/4 c Chopped green onion<br />
1/2 ts Ground cumin<br />
1/2 ts Garlic salt<br />
1 c Grated cheddar cheese 4 oz.<br />
6 Ripe olives; sliced<br />
1 c Sour cream 8 oz.</p>
<h2>Mexican Eggplant Preparation</h2>
<p>Peel and slice eggplant. Brush both sides of each slice with oil.</p>
<p>Place in a single layer on a greased baking sheet and bake at 450F for 20 minutes.</p>
<p>Combine tomato sauce, chillies, green onion, cumin and garlic salt in a sauce pan.</p>
<p>Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. In a greased 9 x 13 casserole dish layer the eggplant, sauce and cheese.</p>
<p>Top with sour cream and olives. Bake at 350F for an additional 20 minutes.</p>

<p><strong>Pizza Dough:—–</strong><br />
1 pk Yeast<br />
1 tb Sugar<br />
4 c Flour<br />
2 c Hot water<br />
1 ts Salt<br />
<strong>Pizza Topping:—–</strong><br />
1-1/2 pt Tomato (pizza) sauce<br />
12 oz Mozzarella cheese<br />
1 lb Hamburger<br />
Or sausage or pepper</p>
<h3>Idiot Bread Pizza Preparation</h3>
<p>Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar, salt and flour.</p>
<p>Mix well with spoon and spread in two greased 9×13 pans. Let rise for one hour.</p>
<p>Spread about 1 1/2 pints of your favourite tomato <em>(pizza)</em> sauce on top. Add 12 ounce shredded Mozzarella cheese and one pound cooked hamburger (or sausage or pepperoni).</p>
<p>Put pizza in oven preheated to 500F (as hot as you can possibly get it); reduce heat immediately to 400F and bake 35 minutes or until cheese is melted.</p>

<p>5 lb Lamb shoulder roast<br />
2/3 tb Salt<br />
1/2 ts Pepper<br />
2 tb Flour<br />
3 lg Green capsicums<br />
2 c Cooked rice<br />
1/2 c Celery; chopped<br />
4 tb Chilli sauce</p>
<h2><a title="marinated lamb" href="http://alleasyfoodrecipes.com/blog/easy-recipes/marinated-lamb-recipe/">Lamb</a> Roast Supreme Preparation</h2>
<p>Wipe roast with a damp cloth. Combine salt, pepper and flour. Rub the roast well. Place in an open pan.</p>
<p>Bake at 300F for 2-1/2 hours. Cut green capsicums in half. Remove centres and seeds.</p>
<p>Parboil until slightly tender. Drain.</p>
<p>Mix together rice, celery, and chilli sauce. Fill the capsicums and place around the <a title="Pot roast" href="http://alleasyfoodrecipes.com/blog/healthy-recipes/healthier-pot-roast-recipe/">roast</a>.</p>
<p>Continue cooking and baking at 300F for 40 minutes or until capsicums are tender and roast is done.</p>

<h2>Easy Texas Tacos Preparation</h2>
<p>Throw all of the ingredients <em>(except the tortillas)</em> in a stir-fry pan/wok. As you cook the food over medium-high heat continue to stir until the meat crumbles.</p>
<p>Remove from heat, cook your tortillas. Fill your Tacos and top with one or more of the following: Gaucamole; shredded cheese; Pico de Gallo; salsa cruda; hot sauce; sour cream; minced tomatoes.</p>
<p>It takes about 10 minutes to cook up this meal.</p>

1 Onion, chopped finely<br />
2 Potatoes; medium, boiled<br />
2 Eggs<br />
Pepper<br />
1-1/2 ts Dry mustard</p>
<h2>Corned Beef Hash Preparation</h2>
<p>Dice corned beef and cooked potatoes (or substitute coarsely grated raw potato). Chop onion finely.</p>
<p>Mix together in a bowl, adding seasonings, add egg and mix more.</p>
<p>Put in skillet, coated with oil and form patty 1/2 -3/4&#8243; thick, sprinkle with dry mustard. Cook till crispy <em>(about 10 minutes)</em>, cover with a large plate and flip over.</p>
<p>Sprinkle with mustard and cook till crisp.</p>
<p>Serve with a fried egg on top.</p>

<p>3 lb Lean pork<br />
1 Veal knuckle, split<br />
2 Medium-size onion, chopped<br />
5 ts Salt, divided use<br />
1-1/2 ts Black pepper<br />
1 ts Thyme<br />
1/2 ts Sage<br />
1 ts Mace<br />
1 lb Oatmeal or 2 2/3 cups<br />
Cornmeal<br />
Cooking oil</p>
<h2><strong>Cornmeal or Oatmeal Scrapple Preparation</strong></h2>
<p>Put the pork, veal knuckle, onions and 2 teaspoons of the salt into a large pot; cover with water and simmer 2 hours or until the meat is very tender.</p>
<p>Grind the meat. Discard the veal knuckle, and skim the fat from the broth and strain.</p>
<p>Return broth to pot and add the ground pork, remaining salt, the pepper, thyme, sage, mace, and the cornmeal.</p>
<p>Cook slowly for 1 hour, stirring occasionally so it doesn&#8217;t stick. It should cook to a mush. Add more hot water if necessary.</p>
<p>Pour into greased loaf pans to cook and harden.</p>
<p>To serve, slice thin and fry in a little oil until a crisp brown.</p>

<p>1-1/2 ts Salt<br />
4 c Flour<br />
3/4 c Butter<br />
1 c Water<br />
1 lb Ground beef<br />
3 Thinly sliced potatoes<br />
1 Thinly sliced onion<br />
1/4 ts Pepper<br />
1 tb Water</p>
<h2><strong>Cornish Pastie Preparation</strong></h2>
<p>Heat oven to 350F. Mix 1/2 tsp salt with flour. Add butter and blend.</p>
<p>Add 1 cup of water and knead into stiff dough. Roll out to 1/8&#8243; thick . Cut 6 circles.</p>
<p>Mix beef, potatoes, onions, 1 tsp. salt, pepper and 1 Tb water. Divide mixture onto circles.</p>
<p>Fold each circle in half. Seal the edges with a fork, carefully pressing down to keep the mixture inside while it cooks.</p>
<p>Bake for 1 1/4 hours.</p>
<p>This recipe takes me back to my younger school days, eating pasties at lunchtime from the canteen, so I hope you enjoy it too.</p>
